Spanning five days, the initiative engaged staff members from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa in activities focused on community resilience, children’s education, and environmental protection. Diverse Community Efforts Across Africa
AstraZeneca employees implemented various projects tailored to meet the unique needs of their local communities:
- Cameroon: Staff donated food supplies and essential items to the Foundation Famille Chrétienne orphanage, uplifting vulnerable children with much-needed support.
- Ivory Coast: The team enhanced educational opportunities by donating school kits through the NGO Les Zinzins du Bonheur, enabling students to access critical learning resources.
- Senegal: Contributions included food supplies and basic necessities for the Nursery of Medina, managed by the Franciscan Sisters, ensuring care for young children.

- Kenya: The team engaged in hands-on activities at Morning Star Ministries Children’s Home, cooking, cleaning, mentoring, and gifting items. They also extended their support to Victorious Joy Children’s Home, fostering hope for underserved children.
- South Africa: Efforts included door-to-door donation drives, environmental clean-ups, and engaging children at the Princess Alice Adoption Home, reinforcing a sense of community care and responsibility.
