This year, we marked thirty years of service in Tanzania. For three decades, we have walked alongside our clients through shifting economic landscapes, rising ambitions and expanding global linkages. - Delivering impact for Tanzanians: Through targeted Corporate Social Investment in education, health, the environment and financial literacy, we positively impacted more than 1 million people across the country.
- Empowering entrepreneurs and MSMEs: The Stanbic Biashara Incubator delivered strong, measurable impact in 2025, reaching close to 5,000 entrepreneurs with practical, market-relevant support that strengthened financial capability, enterprise resilience, clean-energy adoption and regional trade participation.
- Advancing national development priorities: Aligned to our purpose and Government priorities under Vision 2050, we financed large-scale strategic projects particularly in infrastructure, energy and other critical sectors, while building partnerships that unlock long-term national value.
- Partnering with the public sector for transformative outcomes: In collaboration with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, we arranged Tanzania’s first local syndication of up to TZS 500 billion, enabling transformative blue-economy investments across tourism, marine resources and infrastructure.
- Expanding access through digital innovation: We launched short-term, digital, collateral-free loans of up to TZS 5 million, accessible via mobile phones, enabling Tanzanians to meet urgent needs without visiting a branch.
- Recognition of excellence: Our performance and client-centric approach were recognised by leading global platforms. Euromoney named us Best Private Bank, Best Investment Bank, Best Foreign Exchange Bank and Best Customer Experience Bank, affirming the standards and capabilities we continue to uphold.
- Championing financial inclusion: We deepened our investment in technology while expanding our physical footprint, opening new branches across the country and increasing our total points of representation to 15.
- Strong and sustainable performance: We delivered robust financial results, with all key metrics tracking within targets and firmly aligned to our long-term strategic ambitions.
As we look to 2026, we remain focused on being a bank that stands with our clients through progress and transition. We will continue to widen our presence, strengthen the journeys of individuals and businesses, and invest in experiences that feel more personal, more connected and more aligned to the needs of a modern economy.
