Stanbic Bank Tanzania has today rewarded 28 lucky customers with various cash prizes of up to TZS 500,000 in the second winners draw of its Salary Switch Campaign. The draw marks two months since the official launch of the campaign, which encourages salaried employees across the country to switch their salary accounts to Stanbic Bank.

The event was held at the bank’s head office in Dar es Salaam and was officially witnessed by Irene Kawili, a representative from the Gaming Board of Tanzania, alongside members of the media – reaffirming the bank’s commitment to transparency and integrity throughout the process.
Speaking during the event, Sarah Odunga, Customer Value Manager at Stanbic Bank, noted “We are encouraged by the continued enthusiasm and trust shown by customers across Tanzania. This draw is part of our promise to deliver tangible value to those who choose to bank with us. By switching their salaries to Stanbic, customers unlock not just banking services, but meaningful financial opportunities.”
The Salary Switch Campaign offers a wide range of benefits to participating customers, including access to salary advances of up to 60% of their income, free funeral insurance cover, personalised financial advice through the bank’s Financial Fitness Academy, and the opportunity to win cash prizes in monthly draws.
The 28 winners announced today were selected from a pool of qualifying entries submitted in the past month, and they represent a diverse group from different regions across Tanzania.
Ambikile Mutembei, Manager, Informal Markets, Personal & Private Banking at Stanbic Bank, added “As we celebrate 30 years of empowering individuals and businesses in Tanzania, this campaign represents our continued journey of putting customers first. Salary Switch is more than a promotion, it’s a demonstration of our long-standing commitment to walk with our customers throughout their financial lives.”
The Salary Switch Campaign is ongoing across all Stanbic Bank branches nationwide, with more exciting draws and cash prizes planned for the coming months.
