KCB Bank Tanzania, led by its Managing Director, Cosmas Kimario, participated in the Heads of State Summit of the East African Community (EAC) held in Arusha.
The bank’s participation highlighted its contribution to discussions on the development of digital finance, the growth of capital markets, and the facilitation of trade within the East African region.
During the meeting, the launch of the EAC Customs Bond was described as a significant step toward strengthening cross-border trade and simplifying business operations for traders within the East African Community.
The initiative is also expected to improve efficiency in the movement of goods and stimulate trade growth across the region.
