SportPesa has August 24,2026 launched a partnership with the Tanzania Rugby Union (TRU), to support the development and promotion of rugby in Tanzania. Under the partnership, SportPesa becomes the Official Title Sponsor of the National Rugby Sevens Circuit, which will be known as the SportPesa National Saba Circuit 2026.
SportPesa will also become the tournament’s Exclusive Official Betting Partner. The partnership represents a deliberate expansion of SportPesa’s investment in sports and builds upon the company’s extensive experience supporting rugby in Kenya and South Africa.
This partnership with TRU will support the National Rugby Sevens Circuit and the Men’s National Team throughout a five-month campaign, with the company investing in tournament visibility, fan engagement, digital content, on-ground activations and initiatives aimed at supporting rugby talent and development.
In addition to the SportPesa National Saba Circuit 2026, this partnership will support the Twiga Kings on their trip to South Africa to compete in the Obaro 7s in October.
