Dar es Salaam, 3 September 2026: Puma Energy Tanzania through its cooking gas brand PUMAGAS has officially launched roadshow, which will reach across five regions as part of the company’s efforts to bring cooking gas services closer to households and businesses.
The roadshow was launched at the new Puma Energy retail service station in Bunju, Dar es Salaam, and will run for eight weeks, covering Dar es Salaam, Pwani, Morogoro and Dodoma before concluding in Mwanza.
Under the message “Hakuna Kuchochea, Tumerahisisha na PumaGas,” the campaign will focus on the use of cooking gas in everyday household and business activities.
The roadshow will provide an opportunity for cooking gas users in different areas to learn more about LPG, ask questions about its use and access, and engage with PumaGas dealers in their communities.

“Our aim is not simply to tell people about cooking gas, but to give them an opportunity to understand it, see how it is used and get the information they need before making a decision. By taking PumaGas directly into communities, we want to be closer to our customers and better understand their needs in different areas,” said Ms. Lilian Kanora, Head of Marketing at Puma Energy Tanzania.
During the roadshow, PumaGas teams will engage with households, food businesses, restaurants, hotels and gas dealers. The programme will also include cooking demonstrations and opportunities for members of the public to ask questions about the use, availability and refilling of gas cylinders.
Food businesses that use gas as part of their daily operations, including street food vendors, ‘mama ntilie’, restaurants and hotels, will also be part of the engagement. Dealers will be involved in supporting the availability of products and services to customers in their respective areas.

The roadshow will culminate in Mwanza, where Puma Energy will formally enter the Lake Zone market. The Mwanza launch will include the introduction of PumaGas to the market, the handover of a cylinder to the first customer and recognition of the first PumaGas dealer in the area, alongside engagement with stakeholders and the media.
The Mwanza launch will also feature a practical cooking demonstration. A local mama ntilie will prepare chapati using a PumaGas cylinder, giving members of the public an opportunity to see how much food can be prepared using the gas in a familiar, everyday setting.
For Puma Energy, the roadshow is part of a broader effort to increase access to cooking gas and extend the service to more communities across the country.
From Dar es Salaam to Mwanza, the eight-week roadshow will travel through different communities, engage with users and bring PumaGas services closer to the areas where people live and run their businesses.
