Dr. Aisa Muya, Director of Programs at Amref Health Africa Tanzania, moderated the Amref-led forum “Building Pandemic-Resilient Health Systems: Integrating Life Course Immunization Through Tanzania’s Saving Lives and Livelihoods (SLL) Experience” during the Tanzania Health Summit 2025 at JNICC in Dar es Salaam.
Held under the theme “Harnessing Data Utilization and Technologies to Accelerate Universal Health Coverage,” the session highlighted lessons from Tanzania’s multi-disease outbreak response, demonstrating how crisis interventions can strengthen sustainable health systems.

The forum brought together speakers from the Ministry of Health (Mainland and Zanzibar), PO-RALG, Amref Tanzania, Africa CDC, and other partners. The SLL initiative is implemented by Amref Health Africa in collaboration with government stakeholders, with funding from the Mastercard Foundation and support from Africa CDC.
